"Wild Aurora" is made up of seven scenes which highlight local Alaskan species including, moose, wolves, swans, belugas, bears, eagles and two species of salmon. It consists of mixed media: acrylic, glass and stone on twenty-three 40 inch x 60 inch wood panels. It was commissioned by 1% for Art, Anchorage AK with a budget of $36,000. I worked directly with the entire student body of 250 students to embellish wooden sculptures of wildflowers and salmon, which I later incorporated into the final artwork. This project was installed in July 2015 in the lobby and hallways of Aurora Elementary School, JBER, Anchorage, AK.
